Federal Work Study Employer Updates
October 4, 2013For departments given an allocation of Federal Work Study funds for 2013-14, submit the name, student identification number and hiring ORG number for the students that should be paid from the Federal Work Study fund to Financial Aid Counselor Aesha Williams no later than Tuesday, October 15, 2013. -

Reminder: Financial Aid Now Located In Perlstein Hall
August 14, 2013Earlier in August, IIT Office of Financial Aid relocated from IIT Tower to Perlstein Hall, Suite 206. Students may stop by to get questions answered and to see the new space. Regular business hours are 8:30 am-5 pm, Monday through Friday. -
2013-14 Federal Work Study Allotments
July 24, 2013The Office of Financial Aid has notified eligible departments of their available Federal Work Study funds for the 2013–14 academic year. Department allocations were based upon the percentage of total work study funds used by the department during the 2012–13 year. Unfortunately, IIT’s total work study allocation has once again been reduced for the upcoming year, resulting in limited resources for departments. -
Office of Financial Aid Is Closed for Move
July 3, 2013The Office of Financial Aid is closed for relocation and will reopen on Thursday, July 11 at 8:30 am. The office is moving from IIT Tower to Perlstein Hall 203, joining the Graduate Admissions suite. The office will have a separate entrance on the north end of the suite, and welcomes students to stop by to say hello after the move! Access to email and phones will be limited during the move. Please email finaid@iit.edu with any questions during this time and expect a reply back within 3–5 business days.
