We are excited to announce the launch of a new virtual mental health service provider for eligible Illinois Tech health plan members and their dependents* beginning Saturday, October 1, 2023: Cerebral, the fastest growing provider of virtual mental health care services. They make it easy to access digital tools or connect with a provider via telehealth and direct messaging.

Please note that these are spam emails. The group sending them is in no way affiliated with Illinois Tech. Human resources is not familiar with, nor do we endorse, their services.

Mark your calendars for Open Enrollment and a vaccination event (flu and bivalent COVID-19 boosters) this fall! Open enrollment for employee benefits for benefits eligible faculty and staff will be held from November 1 - 15, 2022. Changes made at Open Enrollment will become effective January 1, 2023. Please join us for the annual Be the Healing Conference that addresses topics of systemic racism, trauma, and healing. The conference convenes educators, social workers, housing advocates, health professionals, community activists, and community members that Public work with children and families in Chicago. This free conference will be conducted over two full-days at Conviser law Center (Chicago-Kent College of Law) on September 23 and 24 beginning at 9 a.m.

BCBS is offering a fall promotion for new fitness program enrollees: new, eligible members (anyone age 18 and over) can save $10 off the membership fee for the first two months on any Fitness Program package when they sign up from Sept. 1 to Sept. 30 can qualify.

Human Resources is pleased to present a series of Financial Wellness courses, made possible by Illinois Tech’s partnership with PNC Bank. The third course of 2022, Tackling Healthcare Costs in Retirement: Understanding HSAs, will take place via virtual workshop on Tuesday, September 20 at Noon.
