Announcing Formula for Success, a podcast from the Stuart School of Business
November 10, 2022This week, Illinois Tech's Stuart School of Business launched a podcast focusing on the intersection of technology and business. In the first episode, Associate Professor Weslynne Ashton discussed industrial ecology—building our industrial systems to align with the natural ecosystem and taking an all-encompassing approach to making our food systems more equitable. -
2023 Alumni Award Nominations Open
November 10, 2022Since 1946, Alumni Awards have been presented to Illinois Tech’s most accomplished, innovative, and influential alumni. Award winners add to our university’s rich history of visionaries who live out our founding mission: to harness the collective power of difference to drive inclusive innovation. Each year, the Alumni Awards are presented to recipients from nine different categories. This opportunity to honor alumni from around the world would not be possible without our entire Illinois Tech community. -
Access Illinois Tech Update – Improvements Coming November 14
November 8, 2022This weekend the Office of Technology Services (OTS) will be deploying the next phase of Access Illinois Tech. On November 14, 2022, these are the primary changes you will see include: Access Illinois Tech will be your new “go-to” dashboard for most university applications and resources, All of the applications that are currently in your myIIT Portal 9-box grid (in the top-right corner of the myIIT portal) will move to the Access Illinois Tech dashboard, and your university password will be managed through Access Illinois Tech. -
Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Finals and Reception Tomorrow
November 3, 2022On Wednesday, November 9, the College of Computing will showcase the best of Illinois Tech in the finals of the second annual Grainger Computing Innovation Prize. The finalist teams of undergraduate and graduate students will present their projects to a jury of Chicago’s tech leaders. Come support the finalists and share in the excitement as we crown our Grainger Computing Innovation Prize champion! -

November 3, 2022Each fall an outstanding senior from each of the four-year degree-granting institutions of higher learning in Illinois is awarded the Abraham Lincoln Civic Engagement Award and thereby becomes a Student Laureate of The Lincoln Academy of Illinois. The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, would like to congratulate Ahmad Muhammad on his selection as the Illinois Lincoln Academy Student Laureate recipient for Illinois Tech.
