    Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance, Food Processing Suppliers Association Awarding Scholarships

    The Meat Industry Suppliers Alliance (MISA) of the Food Processing Suppliers Association (FPSA) will be awarding seven $10,000 scholarships this year to deserving students studying in the Food & Meat Sciences and Engineering at Universities across the country. This is to encourage and support those interested in pursuing careers within the meat industry or engineering field. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of the following criteria: academic performance, commitment to a career in the meat industry or engineering field as well as potential for success.

    The Department of Humanities is accepting submissions for its 58th annual writing contest. All full-time Illinois Tech undergraduate students (students who are currently taking at least 12 credit hours) are invited to submit original pieces of fiction, poetry, plays, nonfiction, and philosophical analysis.

    Virtual Career Fairs to Be Held February 8 and 9

    Illinois Tech's Spring 2023 Virtual Career Fairs will be held on February 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the Handshake Virtual Platform. The fair will be conducted in a 'mini-interview' format where scheduled discussions between students and employers will take place throughout the day. Employers will have discretion over their schedule to build in breaks throughout the day.
