Call for College of Computing Posters for Student Poster Project Showcase
March 19, 2026All Illinois Tech College of Computing undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. students who have done research, Interprofessional Projects Programs (IPROs), and other professional project work during the last year are invited to present their work at the College of Computing Student Poster Project Showcase from 12–2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, in the lobby and classroom 113 of the Stuart Building. Interested College of Computing students should submit their research title and abstract by Friday, April 10. -
Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Finals — See the Top 5 Teams Compete for $30,000 in Prize Money
October 30, 2025You're invited to the final presentations and gala of the fifth annual Grainger Computing Innovation Prize on Thursday, November 6, hosted by the College of Computing. The finals will showcase the best of Illinois Tech as Grainger Prize finalists, consisting of teams of undergraduate and graduate students, present their projects to a jury of Chicago’s tech leaders. Announcing the 2022 Grainger Computing Innovation Prize Winners
November 29, 2022The second annual Grainger Computing Innovation Prize was awarded to a team of Illinois Tech student innovators for their invention of a cross-compatible, simple-to-use stablecoin payment solution to solve the financial access gap for millions of Mexico’s unbanked. The winning team, named StarPay, was announced as the $15,000 first prize winner in a finals event judged live by a panel of Chicago’s technology experts. -
