Architecture Student Receives Special Mention in Schiff Competition
June 14, 2013IIT College of Architecture graduate student Penelope Phylactopoulos received a Special Mention in the 2013 Schiff Foundation Fellowship for Architecture competition. Each year, IIT, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and the University of Illinois at Chicago nominate a select group of students to submit projects developed in advanced design studios. Phylactopoulos, who was mentored by Professor John Ronan, entitled her project "Silence Retreat." Only two awards were given this year, first place and the special mention. -
IIT Student On Winning Team of the Mock Firms International Skyscraper Competition

IIT Student Team Wins APICS Chicago Case Competition
November 8, 2012Five students from the Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) Program took first place in the 2012 Chicago Case Competition hosted by The Association for Operations Management (APICS) in October. This was the fourth annual competition and the fourth time that the IIT team has won. -
