    As the university completes migration of IIT email accounts and calendaring to Gmail and Google Apps for Education, the calendar that is default in myIIT Group Studio will be disabled. Group owners who wish to keep communication active among members should recreate their group in Google Apps for Education.

  • Opt-In to Early Gmail/Google Apps Migration

    Office of Technology Services (OTS) is offering faculty and staff an opportunity to opt-in for early migration of your username@iit.edu account to Gmail ahead of your department's mass migration. The new Gmail accounts offer several benefits, including more storage and integration with Google Apps.

  • Gmail, Google Apps for Faculty and Staff Coming Soon

    March 30, 2012
    Office of Technology Services (OTS) will soon begin migrating all faculty and staff email accounts and calendaring to a Gmail and Google Apps for Education environment. The migration will be scheduled department by department. Individual users will be provided with self-migration tools. OTS staff will be on hand for each department's migration to assist.

    As the university completes migration of IIT email accounts and calendaring to Gmail and Google Apps for Education, the calendar that is default in myIIT Group Studio groups will be disabled. Effective immediately, no new Group Studio groups in myIIT will be accepted. Current groups may continue to be used but will be disabled as of June 29, 2012.
