Google Groups to Replace myIIT Group Studio: Convert Now
May 23, 2012As the university completes migration of IIT email accounts and calendaring to Gmail and Google Apps for Education, the calendar that is default in myIIT Group Studio will be disabled. Group owners who wish to keep communication active among members should recreate their group in Google Apps for Education. -
Gmail/Google Apps Migration (Update)
May 18, 2012Individual opt-in is now closed for early migration of faculty and staff username@iit.edu email accounts to Gmail, ahead of your department's mass migration. -
Gmail, Google Apps for Faculty and Staff Coming Soon
March 30, 2012Office of Technology Services (OTS) will soon begin migrating all faculty and staff email accounts and calendaring to a Gmail and Google Apps for Education environment. The migration will be scheduled department by department. Individual users will be provided with self-migration tools. OTS staff will be on hand for each department's migration to assist. -
Google Groups to Replace myIIT Group Studio – Convert Now
March 30, 2012As the university completes migration of IIT email accounts and calendaring to Gmail and Google Apps for Education, the calendar that is default in myIIT Group Studio groups will be disabled. Effective immediately, no new Group Studio groups in myIIT will be accepted. Current groups may continue to be used but will be disabled as of June 29, 2012. -
Farewell Reception for OTS Director of Enterprise Systems Wesley Matthews on March 6
February 28, 2012OTS Director of Enterprise Systems, Wesley Matthews, will be leaving IIT in early March. He has made many contributions to the university and worked closely with students, faculty and staff across all campuses. Please join the Office of Technology Services in wishing Wesley a fond farewell from 4 - 6 pm on Tuesday, March 6 in the Trustee Dining Room at the Hermann Hall Faculty Club. -

February 15, 2012OTS Director of Enterprise Systems Wesley Matthews will leave IIT in early March and relocate this fall to Santiago, Chile to join Corp Group one of the largest holding companies in Latin America. -
