    The Mies van der Rohe Society, Interprofessional Projects (IPRO) Program students of Mindful Modern Buildings, and the College of Architecture are pleased to share an evening that demonstrates how music and dance can fill our senses and impact our architectural designs. Together, we will enjoy live piano performance by acclaimed VanderCook College of Music faculty and musicians, Olivia and Yang, and dance recital by Alberto Velazquez and Amanda Assucena, world-renowned artists from Joffrey Ballet.

    ‘Unforgivable Blackness’ Film Screening and Trolley Tour of Historic Bronzeville Sports Sites

    Join Illinois Tech’s Office of Community Affairs and Outreach Programs on Saturday, March 18, for a free screening of "Unforgivable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson," which tells the story of the first African American boxer to win the most coveted title in all of the sports and his struggle to live his life as a free man in and out of the ring.

    Join the Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize Awards Dinner

    The College of Architecture welcomes the public to the 2023 Mies Crown Hall Americas Prize, a biennial ceremony recognizing the excellence of built works in the Americas. Six finalists from across the continent will showcase their projects at a symposium on March 24 at 2 p.m. at S. R. Crown Hall. A private award ceremony and dinner will follow at 7:30 p.m., where the winner will be announced. Register for the symposium and/or purchase tickets for the ceremony and dinner on the MCHAP website.
