September 3, 2013Duchossois Leadership Professor of Physics Carlo Segre has received a $3.4 million award from the U.S. Department of Energy's Advanced Research Projects Agency to develop a breakthrough battery technology that may more than double the current range of electric vehicles (EV), increase safety, reduce costs and simplify recharging. -
Ready, Set, Get Hired: Attend Fall Career Fair
September 3, 2013Are you ready for the Fall Career Fair on Thursday, September 12? This event takes place from noon-4:00 p.m. in Hermann Hall. More than 160 companies will be in attendance to hire employees for about 4,000 jobs. About 50 percent of those companies represented will be hiring international students.
