January 6, 2017The Illinois Tech Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving teams trained in Southern California during winter break. The hard work the teams put in during this time was on display during a January 4 exhibition against Pacific University, where the Scarlet Hawks put forth an impressive showing. -
Diepholz Named Student-Athlete of the Month
December 9, 2016The Illinois Tech Men's Swimming and Diving team has earned another individual honor. Karsen Diepholz has been named Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athlete of the Month for November by the Association of Division III Independents. -

December 5, 2016The Illinois Tech Men’s Swimming and Diving team hosted the second annual Ted Erikson Invite on December 3 in Keating Sports Center’s Ekco Pool. For the second year in the row, the Scarlet Hawks took first place. -

November 21, 2016The Illinois Tech Men's Swimming and Diving team swam with some of the region's top competition at the University of Chicago's Phoenix Fall Classic. The Scarlet Hawks placed fifth out of 12 teams with a score of 328. -

October 31, 2016The Illinois Tech Men’s Swimming and Diving team started the 2016-17 season on a very strong note on October 29 at Beloit College. The Scarlet Hawks won 10 of the 11 events, winning the dual meet by a score of 155-46. -

Illinois Tech 2012-13 Liberal Arts Conference Champions
March 14, 2013The Illinois Tech men have become the 2012/2013 Liberal Arts Conference Champions! They won the meet, held February 13–16 at Coe College, with a final score of 702; the women's team placed 7th out of 12 with 141 points and only four female swimmers. Senior Eric Grunden had a phenomenal meet with first-place finishes in all of his individual events and placed on every relay. For this, he received the Men’s Swimmer of the Meet Award. Also recognized was diving coach Ryan Nelson, who was awarded the Men's Diving Coach of the Meet Award. -
Diver Ian McNair Three-Time National Champion
March 14, 2013The Scarlet Hawks sent 14 swimmers and one diver to Oklahoma City February 27–March 2 to compete in the 2013 NAIA National Championship Meet. The team broke four school records and won two national titles. Illinois Tech’s men’s team finished fifth out of 16 teams with 291 points while the Illinois Tech women's team finished 18th out of 19 teams.
