    The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2012 fall all-academic teams on Monday morning, where a total of 305 student-athletes from the league's 15 member schools honored for their academic accomplishments. Illinois Tech filled 22 of those spots with representation from all 5 fall sports.

    Illinois Tech Women’s Soccer Continues Academic Excellence

    The Illinois Tech women's soccer team continued their run of semesters with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Scarlet Hawks posted a collective 3.4 grade point average for the 2012 spring semester, marking the highest semester GPA in recent years for women's soccer.

    Four NAIA National Tournament teams are on the 2012 women's soccer schedule. The Chicagoland Collegiate Conference (CCAC) will be tough again as all four NAIA tournament teams come from the CCAC. The Scarlet Hawks finished fifth in the CCAC last season and will look to improve their standing this year.
